NEW YORK POLICE ARREST EVANESCENCE BOOTLEGGERS

Police in New York swooped on bootleg merchandisers outside an EVANESCENCE gig in Glens Falls last night (05APR07) after receiving complaints from a concert promoter about illicit sales. Six people caught selling illegal concert T-shirts were arrested outside the Glens Falls Civic Center. They were charged with trademark counterfeiting and violating a city ordinance requiring a permit to work as a vendor.
